V.D.A. PROP- Authenticity is a non-standard-approached conceptualization elaborated by the Author and addressed to providing online services such as signing, notarizing (including Apostille), seal-affixing and time-stamping documents of any provenance or origin presented in cryptographic form.

Author’s Note:

“V.D.A.” is to be decoded standing for “Validating Digital Assets”.  “PROP” is a “word” itself but also to be interpreted as a shortening for “Property”.

The main purposes of VDA PROP- Authenticity implementation are the followings:

1) The simplification, acceleration and securitization of contractual involvement of any entity “Parties” residing in deferent countries;

2) The prevention of any entity’s identification stealing, possessing, pretending and faking;

3) The protection of unregistered forms of the intellectual property such as Trade Secrets, Know-how and Undisclosed Commercial Information.

VDA PROP- Authenticity is based on employment of quasi-blockchain technology that gives decentralized and secure distributive-storing abilities such as in particular, but not limited to, the followings:

- to verify P2P/B2B related documents be virtually signed with fingerprint digitally-coded signatures and, if needed, be sealed with source-coding algorithm processing;

- to provide end-user’ receipt confirming the contractual involvement and secure record storage of document (e.g. contract) filed;

- to  transfer, update, brand and to conjointly own P2P/B2B documented and notarized assets via accessible accounts representing the state/nature of such assets;

 

- to provide verification of certificates of any provenance or origin that are validating ownership, achievement, being witnessed,  product/ service quality controlling, etc.;

 - to distribute, via links and embedded HTML code, end-user’s documents needed to be signed by others and to monitor their contractual involvement for access and consistency for a variety of tasks;

- to provide each registered end-user with relevant mobile application/software evolved from real-world private or business situations in partnering with 2d or 3d parties.

Protecting Trade Secrets, Know-how and Undisclosed Commercial Information

Trade secrets, know-how and undisclosed commercial information are confidential information in a commercial setting, such as, in particular but not limited, formulas, methods, technologies, designs, product specifications, business plans and client lists, that have commercial value. 

Even though in many countries, trade secrets, know-how and undisclosed commercial information are protected by common law of confidence, the typical means of enhancing the protection of such unregistered form of the intellectual property by signing Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in some specific cases is not enough.

”Copyright” registration only protects the form in which ideas and information are expressed, but not ideas and information per se. The law of confidence protects the substance of ideas and information, no matter how they are expressed. There are statutory permitted acts for works protected by copyright but not works protected by confidence.
